Description

Resource Reporter is a free application that helps with documentation of ArcSight™ ESM (Enterprise Security Manager) resources as contained within .ARB package files.

It can produce listings of ESM resources (such as Assets, Rules, Reports, etc.) in two formats, Simple and Extended. Simple format produces a CSV file that includes resource type, name, original parent group, resource ID and description for each resource contained in the package. Extended format produces either an RTF with a separate table containing most significant fields for each type of a resource or a set of CSV files with the same information.

Compatibility

Resource Reporter is compatible with ArcSight™ ESM 4.5.* and 5.0.*.

It is a Java based utility and can be used on Windows, Unix, and MacOS.

Sun Java JRE 1.6 or higher is required to be installed. The latest version of Sun Java can be downloaded here.
